CDL DRIVER CLASS A

CDL DRIVER CLASS A

Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in truck hauling oversize loads (bulldozers, loaders, excavators, articulated dump trucks)

  • Ability to load and unload equipment

  • Ability to drive and operate heavy equipment (GVW 88,000, loads up to 200,000 pounds, 11 axles)

  • Properly secure cargo

  • Haul load in a timely and safe manner

  • Use the ELD in accordance with the DOT regulations

  • Manage logs and records as required

  • Perform pre and post trip inspections

  • Assist mechanics as needed

  • Follow all safety and traffic regulations

  • Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, fluids check, vehicle cleanliness)

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card

  • Minimum 3 years lowboy experience required

  • Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles

  • Ability to drive and operate heavy equipment

  • Must pass DOT physical

  • Must pass drug screen

  • Must pass background check

  • Must have safe driving record

  • Hazmat endorsement preferred

  • Be available for occasional overtime

  • Be available for occasional overnight trips as required

  • Must have dependable transportation and strong work ethic
